This release was primarily a minor enhancement and bug-fix release. Thank you to everyone who requested enhancements or reported bugs.
Minor Enhancements
- Enhanced meeting access. Previously people who were not in a team (and didn't have leader-level permissions) could not see or participate in meetings inside the platform. Now, people who are listed as an attendee will be able to see and participate in these meetings in the platform. Some notes on this feature:
- For the team, this meeting is in, the meeting navigation element will now show under the team
- Upcoming meetings will show on their dashboard
- Attendees can interact with the meeting as an active participant (can add actions, advance agenda items, etc)
-
Attendees added to a meeting inside a team will NOT see meetings they were NOT listed as an attendee
- The four-zone framework has been updated to match the colours from our new branding. This affects these features:
- Organisation map
- Strategic goals
- Strategic working board
- PDF workbooks
- Objectives that are in a private team (or the team has set their objectives to private) will no longer show up when looking at the objectives in the organisation view.
- The meetings and actions features have been decoupled - so you can turn on the "meetings" without turning on “actions”. This will be helpful for those who use an external work board (such as Asana, Jira, Trello, etc), but still wish to use our meeting feature.
- When sending out calendar invitations, we now send out a specific invitation for the organisation so that it is added to their calendar. Previously, on some systems, this would only be added for participants.
- all attendees are now marked as ‘Required’ by default instead of ‘Optional’
- all attendees are now marked as ‘Required’ by default instead of ‘Optional’
- The strategic dashboard is now expanded by default.
- The ‘External Dashboards’ feature has been enhanced to allow you to also link to external web pages. Instead of having the dashboard inside the platform, you can now elect to open a new tab from the link. The feature is now named ‘External Links’.
- When using the API, Peer Catch Ups have an extra option to be able to filter by ‘latest only’ and ‘active only’.
Bug Fixes
- Objectives can now be printed - previously some information was cut off
- The large amount of whitespace in the external dashboards has been removed. It now uses the full height and width
- Meeting invitations sent to a calendar will now show links to videos as opposed to a blank space
- Both meeting description and pre-work have been fixed
- Meeting invitations sometimes included malformed links
