This release was primarily a minor enhancement and bug-fix release. Thank you to everyone who requested enhancements or reported bugs.

Minor Enhancements

    • Objectives has had a number of enhancements to improve the day-to-day operation of Objective & Key Results (OKRs).

      • We have changed how Objective statuses are represented in the platform. We are now following the more standard OKR guidance to allow you to classify Objectives in progress as either 'On Track', 'Slow' or 'Stuck'. Many people have been using our label functionality to do this - and this update will make this a more integrated and consistent part of Objectives in the platform.

In the platform, you can see these statuses reflected in the tree or list view:

Changing the status of an objective can be done using the menu:

Or, alternatively, through the edit objective dialog:

Note: The status 'To Do' has been removed. Any existing objectives with this status have been migrated to the 'On Track' status. This better aligns with OKR thinking. Objectives should be set for the current period only. Adding multiple objectives in the future tends to drive people to work on what was seen to be important six months ago, as opposed to what is important now.

      • The filtering of the Objectives page has also been improved. You can now filter by:
        • Assignee (Owner)
        • Labels
        • Status

There are also more flexible options for showing Closed objectives.

The filter will give you a similar level of flexibility to Kanban boards and should make it easier to work with the Objectives feature.

  • Kanban items can now be created from the Objectives page. Previously, you had to go to the team's work page, create a kanban item and then link it to the objective. The new workflow will make this a much simpler task.

    From the objective page:

Bug Fixes

  • Videos shown in the embedADAPT sidebar help articles can now be viewed full screen
  • When scrolling around help articles in the embedADAPT sidebar, the article position resets when moving to a new page
  • We've removed our custom styling of bullet points in favour of using your browser's defaults
  • Some minor cosmetic issues with our editor have been fixed, such as popups being cut-off; the colour color picker looking strange; and spacing of elements in the toolbar
