As the owner, or owners, of the business, you will be leading the charge to implement ‘the adapt way’ for your business. By following the adapt way, you will be building a robust strategy, healthy culture, an effective leadership team, and the systems to support and build this team.

 

At its highest level, the adapt way is made up of five elements - leadership, strategy, teams, culture, and systemise. The work we will do with you in adapt HQ will guide you through a series of steps (that we call pathways) to target one or more of these areas.

The adapt way outcomes

You might be thinking “What will i get from this?”. To address this, we have outlined a series of outcomes (shown below) that you can expect to achieve by following the adapt way.

The modules are colour coded, and the outcomes represent the modules shown above, and our initial focus in adapt HQ is on leadership and strategy.

Leadership & strategy

The first focus for us in adapt HQ is to build and implement your strategy.

The model below gives you a sense of the order to build and implement your strategy - and where you are at in the process of building the strategy for your business.

In adapt HQ, we would expect the first 4 sections to take anywhere between a couple of weeks to a couple of months - the pace at which you move through our pathways is determined by your organisation's size, your leadership team, and your operational load.

 

 

Strategy framework

Inside adapt HQ, we will give you a picture of where something you're working on “fits”.  A model that we will keep coming back to, is our strategy framework, shown below.

 

The elements on top represent things that your organisation will work on, from left to right with an increasingly larger time scale - from actions that require immediate attention to your 10 year vision. The foundational elements (purpose, values, bullseye, anchors) are shown along the bottom, which provide a set of guardrails when you start to build your strategy.

Adapt HQ has been designed in such a way to guide you on a series of steps (that we call pathways) that talk to each of these elements in the picture. Each pathway is a self-contained piece of work, that your leadership team will work on. Each pathway is designed to address one or more of the adapt way outcomes.
