This release focused on improving the embedADAPT meeting framework and calendar integration. Thank you to everyone who requested enhancements or reported bugs.
We are still actively improving our Microsoft 365 calendar integration, if you have any feedback please don't hesitate to let us know!
Minor Enhancements
- The Microsoft 365 integration has been improved:
- If your login has expired, then presssing the connect button again, will, in most cases, automatically log you back in
- We now allow Microsoft Teams meetings to be created inside the platform at the same time as creating or editing a meeting.
- A link will be displayed to open the teams meeting:
- The synchronisation is two way so if you update the meeting inside Outlook, then embedADAPT will also recognise this is a teams meeting
- A link will be displayed to open the teams meeting:
- Meeting rooms now show if they are available
- If the login has expired, then we provide a better message to the user as to the cause.
- A wizard-like experience for when you schedule or edit a meeting that allows you to:
- specify whether to send out invitations via Microsoft 365 or iCal
- specify whether to include a Microsoft Teams meeting (Microsoft 365 integrated clients only)
- specify the agenda of a meeting
- an improved date and time picker
- Meeting invites will now include meeting description and pre-work in the invite
- If you have the required permissions, you can now invite people to the organisation from the team configuration area
- The values page has been redesigned to show each value in more detail. We believe this provides a more comprehensive page for viewing all values in a single location, reducing the number of clicks required
- Better guidance in when creating the key results for an objective
Bugs
- When a meeting organiser has created a meeting with Microsoft 365 integration, but you aren't in the meeting, embedADAPT would prompt you to sync this meeting. This has been fixed - no prompt will occur if you are not in the meeting
- If a meeting was previously created with Microsoft 365 integration, but you were then logged out, then it would prompt you to sync again. This has been fixed to not have a prompt in this case
- Sometimes pressing the ‘Connect with Microsoft’ button did nothing after you were signed out after a period of inactivity
- More updates to icons and imagery to match our new brand
