In this release, we focused on the new strategic goal feature as well as a large update to our existing values feature. We have also made several minor enhancements to improve the overall user experience and fixed various bugs to ensure smoother operation. Thank you to everyone who requested enhancements or reported bugs.

Major Enhancements

Strategic goals

This is a completely new feature that allows you to track progress towards achieving your vision. It replaces our existing resilient business goals with much better functionality, allowing you to see real progress towards your three- to five-year goals. See this article for more information on why this is useful. Speak to your coach about how and when to introduce this feature as it may work best at your next strategic off-site.

You can turn on the strategic goals feature from your organisation configuration tab. Once it is turned on, you will see a new entry on your organisation tab.


From here, you can add strategic goals to any of the four zones. Each strategic goal allows you to define a title and description, as well as some measurables so you can effectively monitor your progress.


As you review and monitor your goals, you can add actual measurements to see how you're tracking:

Values Update

Values in adapt are shifting to a behaviour-based model. Currently, values have a series of “Ask Yourself” questions. Going forward we will have a set of behaviours that ‘demonstrate, support or represent’ the value and a set that does not. We believe this will give people greater clarity and understanding of what is expected of the value. Behaviour-based values are also an important step for an upcoming feature where we can do a more formal values audit across the organisation or team.

The values update is now a default setting in all new organisations but existing customers can choose whether or not to use it. We have provided a migration tool to help with the switch. As before, speak to your coach about how and when to introduce this improvement.

Minor Enhancements

  • We now allow multiple organisation and team external dashboards. This will give you more flexibility to show dashboards from various sources (e.g. G-Suite, Power BI, Cumul.io).



     
  • Resilient Business, Team Assessment & Employee Engagement surveys can now be deleted - use this function with care!
     
  • Guidance is now collapsible in many dialogs
  • The API has been extended to allow more data to be returned for career valuations.

Bug Fixes

  • Teams with many meetings would sometimes see a spinner that would never go away (and never load all the meetings).
  • Converting users between participant and collaborator would not change their team permissions.
  • We have fixed a number of small bugs in the application.
