In the platform you have the ability to add links to external systems. This can take two forms:
- Embedded link - Use this option if you want the link to show inside the platform. Commonly this would be something like a PowerBI dashboard or CRM dashboard.
- External link - Use this option if you want the link to open in a new browser tab. For example, you might maintain your own action board like Trello or Jira, or you may store team documentation on a wiki.
To configure this feature go to your organisation configuration area:
You will notice that there are two icons in the navigation - to allow you to differentiate between links that will open up inside the platform, or those that will open in a new tab.
