A critical component of good strategy and leadership is to communicate clearly and often.
We find having a meeting with the entire company to talk through the objectives will encourage buy-in and increase the chances of having a successful strategy.
Communication plan
- Create an action for someone on the leadership team to organise a whole company meeting
- this is best done in-person, but an electronic meeting is fine
- allow at least an hour to communicate this
- Get an owner or leader to give some context to the overall strategy
- Get each objective owner to present their objective to the team
- Encourage everyone in the organisation to ask questions and discuss the strategy
- This is a great way to get buy-in and ensure you're going in the same direction
