Identify 2-3 measurable outcomes for each quarterly objective. Coming up with good key results is a little bit of an art, and this can take some time in the first few rounds.
Depending on how many are in the leadership team, it can be a good process to work in pairs and present back to the team.
Writing a great key result
A key result is a metric associated with an objective. When writing key results they should measure outcomes, NOT actions.
For example:
- Our NPS score has increased from 6 to 8
- We have attracted 10 new customers
- Our employee engagement score has increased from 40% to 70%
