When you archive a Role it also ends all Role Connections with people. Take the following steps to re-allocate people to a re-activated role:
From the Organisation tab, under Organisation Design click on Roles
Click on the role
In the top right-hand corner click on Configure Role
From the People tab, click on Re-activate
Add Person or Save & Close
What happens next?
The person has been re-allocated to the Role and will show up within that Role
