This release focused on improving our Cultural Leadership Framework and Team Roles features. It also includes several bug fixes. Thank you to everyone who requested enhancements or reported bugs.

Major Enhancements

Cultural Leadership Framework

We have reworked how cultural activity is managed in the platform to make it easier to change your cultural cadence, adjust catchup dates and to exclude people from catchups altogether.

  • People can now be excluded from catchups and cultural statistics. This is primarily intended for people who are arms-length contractors or those on extended leave. People who are excluded will be removed from any cultural cohort, and will not show in the Cultural Leadership Framework grid.

  • When changing the cadence for Career Valuation or Cultural Index, we previously updated the activity in a way that people did not expect. We now follow a few rules when you change the cadence:
    • If the next catchup was automatically set by the system, then this date will be changed to reflect the new cadence.  If you set the cadence to 0 (i.e. no cadence), then this catchup will be removed
    • If the next catchup was manually rescheduled, then this date will NOT be changed
  • Next catchups can now be edited (or deleted) from the Cultural Leadership Framework grid by clicking on the edit icon. You can elect to reschedule (and optionally add a comment), or delete it.

  • All cultural leaders now have the ability to reschedule catchups for any person.
  • The performance of this page has been greatly improved for those with large amounts of people in their organisation.

Team Roles

The role management feature introduced in September has been enhanced with some additional features:

  • People that are not in the team can now be added to the team roles. This is useful for people who have inputs into the team, and you want to reflect this (but not add them to the team as they are not directly part of it). Some examples might be accountants or legal advisors on your owner's team.
  • Roles can be reordered so that the ordering make sense for the team (e.g. importance as opposed to our previous default of alphabetical).
  • Coach type roles can now be added to teams. This is mostly used for organisation leadership or owners teams, where the coach is working very closely with the team and they want to reflect this contribution

Bug Fixes

  • All links that are added to our text editor will, by default, now open in a new browser tab.
  • Sometimes the objective dialog would close, when someone in another session completed an edit on a parent objective.
  • Adding a custom meeting location would not persist the change if you didn't press ‘enter’.
  • Archiving and unarchiving organisations now correctly preserves the original access level state.
