Peer Catch-up is a platform for ongoing dialogue between colleagues. This dialogue should be open and honest, step away from the day-to-day tasks, and focus on the human elements that are key to all teamwork.
Peer Catch-up allows participants to:
- Communicate their level of engagement
- Enhance their working relationships by exploring their connection
- Give and receive feedback on their contribution to achieving the shared purpose of the team
We should consider using a Facilitator if:
- We are new to the Peer Catch-up model
- We have had yellow or red ratings in past Peer Catch-ups
- We would like to change it up and deepen the conversation
Before we kick-off let’s make sure that:
- We keep our values front and centre
- We keep our team values front and centre
- We refer to the 'Ensure high levels of accountability' capability in the team framework for more details
- We do a check-in to be present and ready for an authentic conversation
